I owe credit for this lesson to the fabulous Cassie Stephens of Nashville TN! She writes a rockin' blog! Years ago, art teachers worked in virtual isolation. Now we have the virtual world and social media to share and inspire. I love how these Monet-inspired sculptures turned out! I especially appreciate the way my students constructed their fun and excellent creatures including snails, butterflies, swan and cygnet (yes, that's a baby swan!) and too many more to include here. Please check out the dinosaur! (Gotta love that creativity!!)
Drew BrownI am an art educator, and I began teaching in 1994. I hold a PhD in Art (Art Education) from UGA. I love teaching at Sweet Apple! My students inspire me with their enthusiasm, creativity, questions, and great ideas. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking, yoga, and of course, art (art museums, festivals, & creating art). Archives
