5th graders were challenged to choose a food to sketch and then sculpt with clay. We reviewed the methods of building with slab, pinch and coil techniques and students were required to hand build their food of choice. After viewing the food-themed art of Oldenberg, Thiebaud, etc students discussed the influence of Pop Art. More photos to be posted soon!
